Registration + Placement

2023/24 SEason Registration Now open!

  • Registration for our after school training programs is ongoing by assessment class (opens soon)

  • Assessment class required for new students– see placement procedures below

  • Dancers wishing to join a Vitacca performance company, a scholarship program, or the Accelerated Program must audition for review and acceptance. Auditions held annually between April & August. Please see our Auditions page for updates


Placement Procedures

  • Students age 2–8 in our Children’s Program are placed by their age as of September 1st. Free trial class available!

  • Students 9 and older are placed in Division A through Division D by knowledge, ability, and potential through an Assessment Class ($25).

TUITION PAYMENT

We now accept registration payments through Zelle! Scan the QR code (linked below) in your banking app to send money to pay. Please include a memo that notes what you are paying for. Click here to pay

COVID Protocols

As of January 2022:

  • Vaccinations not required for participation

  • Masks are to be worn in the Houston location common spaces. Masks are welcomed in the studio/training spaces but not required

  • Cleaning measures in place- HEPA filters in all studios and routine sanitization of surfaces, floors, barres, and shared areas

  • Return to train after positive test result - Dancers are required to quarantine for five days from start of symptoms. Dancers must be without fever and be symptom free to return to training. Dancers are asked to wear a mask in the studios and common spaces for five days upon their return

 

Arrival + Departure Procedures

Access to the building is secure and requires being buzzed in by ringing Vitacca’s Administrative Office upon arrival.

Children’s Program
Dancers are to arrive (5) minutes early to class and be present for line-up and invitation into the classroom. As of August 2021, Children’s Program classes are open for observation. Our school is a focused training environment, thus we kindly ask parents not to overcrowd the school’s waiting areas and stay mindful of noise levels within the common areas.

School Training + Pre-Professional Programs
Dancers are to arrive no earlier than 20 minutes before each class and exit the school promptly at conclusion of evening classes/rehearsals as the building is locked promptly at 8:45pm. Accelerated and advanced evening classes, Divisions B through AC are closed for observation. Parents are invited to Fall and Spring observation weeks.

We kindly ask that all parents are prompt for pickup.

 

Dress Code

All dancers are responsible for wearing the correct dress code for their class level. If the dancer does not have the correct attire, the student may be asked to watch the class. Please see the individual program pages for details on hair and jewelry expectations. Vitacca training divisions A through Accelerated have a required dress code, which is linked below.

Masks - As of June 20, 2021 masks will only be required in the common hallways/spaces of the Houston building. Masks are not required for participation in the the studio/classes while dancing.

To Purchase

ONSITE: Attire available for purchase onsite at Vitacca Schools

ORDER: Please fill out a Dress Code Order Form and submit to the office via mail, email, or in person. Payments accepted by cash, check, or card.

Note: Bella Rosa leotards only available for purchase/order through August 16, and will be available for dancers in divisions C through Accelerated in Adult sizes only
