Vitacca Vocational School for Dance standard training schedule begins on September 4. Vitacca's training program include: 

  • Accelerated Program: Home-schooled Dancers ages 11-19 (audition required)
  • Pre-Professional Program: ages 11-19 (audition required)
  • Graded Program: ages 8-12 (assessment class required)
  • Primary Ballet Program: ages 5-7

Nutcracker Audition - Woodlands School

Vitacca dancers ages 7-19 are welcome to audition for the annual Nutcracker production. Dancers selected will be notified by email and invited to a mandatory Information Meeting on September 7 at 5:30pm.  Parents also must be in attendance.

Audition Details:

  • Vitacca Dance Woodlands - 9391 Grogan's Mill Rd. Suite B1
  • 12:00-1:30 ages 7-11
  • 2:00-4:00 ages 12-19
  • Audition class fee: $25
  • Register in advance or onsite day of
  • General Notes: Dancers training en pointe for 2+ years may be asked to audition en pointe. Please be prepared with clean ballet attire and proper shoes. Check in will be available 30 minutes prior to audition time.

Vitacca Vocational School for Dance is an audition only institution for gifted dancers focused in classical, modern and contemporary training.  Dancers ages 10-19 are required to audition for acceptance and division placement. The school offers six training divisions, an Accelerated Division for home-schooled dancers and a Resident Artist program.

Vitacca Summer Focus Sessions

Focus Training weeks give the intermediate/advanced level dancer an opportunity to maintain and strengthen their technique throughout the Summer months including daily classes such as: ballet technique, pointe, contemporary jazz and modern. Register for one, two or three weeks today. Drop-in 10 class cards also available.

  • Focus Week One: June 18-21
  • Focus Week Two: July 16-19
  • Focus Week Three: 23-26

Vitacca School Open House

Vitacca Days of Dance on April 20 and 21 includes: an evening of free dance classes with 2018-2019 Faculty, an In-studio demonstration and the 2018-2019 Vitacca Vocational School audition for dancers ages 10-18. Learn more about Vitacca training opportunities and enjoy one or multiple free technique classes.  Parent observation welcomed during open house classes. Open House Order of Events below,  Registration required for April 21 School Audition.

Men's Ballet Workshop Series with Ballet Master, Phillip Broomhead

Vitacca offers it's first Men's Ballet Workshop Series beginning on Jan. 8 with Ballet Master, Phillip Broomhead. The men's focus class is designed for dancers 12+ interested in furthering their technical knowledge. The series includes 11 classes and closed on March 12 for Spring Break. Register in advance ($200), proration through February.

Vitacca Vocational School For Dance hosts a day of dance for hurricane relief on Saturday, September 9! Vitacca Faculty and Guest Master Teachers from across Houston welcome dancers ages 5 to adult to dance and donate! All proceeds will be given to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, Greater Houston Community Foundation.
